StemGamE

StemGamE is a biotechnology research platform, joint funded by INSERM and INRA, dedicated to deriving embryonic stem (ES) and induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cell lines in non murine species, including primates and livestocks.

ES cells are derived in the rabbit to develop an ES cell-based transgenic technology in farm animals.

ES and iPS cells are derived in human and rhesus monkey.

They are used to assess both the efficacy and the safety of cell therapy in a monkey model of Parkinson disease.

Beside, PrimaStem offers training to research teams in the field of non murine ES cell culture and engineering.
